OK, here’s a little crazy I’ve been trying to form into a real idea for a bit:

I’d like to develop a point system based on various actions in my day-to-day life, like saving money, exercising, getting errands done, etc. that all go into a formula to give me XP points, by which I can level up.

I know this all sounds a bit childish, but I find that sometimes it’s easier to tackle some of the big (and small) roadblocks in life simply by looking at them from another angle. The reward of going to the gym is, for instance, being healthier and feeling better. But it SUCKS going to the gym right? Even with that awesome reward? So what if you could make more of a game out of it? Now we’re talking….

This is honestly just some randomness that I haven’t *quite* pieced together yet (which is why I’m writing it out, der), but I will come back and edit as I grow the idea and begin building the tracking software.

Seriously, it’s Tuesday again?

Man, sometimes it’s just so hard for me to wake up in the morning….

The lady got me up about an hour ago to start cleaning up, because my sister-in-law is coming to town and apparently the house looks like “an effing pig stye” – though I don’t know that I’d agree. Plus, my sis-in-law is pretty damn chill and wouldn’t give a shit. But whatevers, I’m already doing my training for “happy wife = happy life.”

Ugh… what else? Just hit level 20 and got my bad mother f#@$ing ship in SWTOR, which is nice. Working the new job at 3DChat and that’s going well, learning alot about new systems – mainly Social Engine right now.

And I’m really going to try to start working out this month. Nate and I may get gym memberships, so I have somebody to go with (and, let’s face it, make me go). Anyway, that’s all for now. Happy Thursday, bitches.

Holy cow, the weather’s been weird down here. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not complaining, but 70 degrees January is a little bizarre. In other news…

The new job is going great, thanks for asking. I’m doing a lot of wedding planning these days (hurray!), but Lauren’s doing even more so I can’t really complain. Still working on some side projects (details to come shortly). And… that’s it! Just trying to stay afloat, and maybe start working out a little. I need to get down to “fighting weight” in time for the wedding.

Enjoy the weather, and Happy New Year!

Oh yeah, that’s right. Star Wars: The Old Republic is finally out (Dec 20th, 2011). I had totally forgotten about this game, what with all the traveling and family requirements over the holidays, but now I am all in (when I’m not working or doing something for this beast of a wedding in a April).

If you’re in the galaxy, look me up on Infinity Gate (PvP).

This guy is my new obsession (sorry, Patrick). Fucking amazing instrumental prog-rock with just enough metal ande some excellent time changes. Ben, if you’re reading this, let me know whatever I can do to help you out – I owe you big time for all the amazing music.
