This guy is my new obsession (sorry, Patrick). Fucking amazing instrumental prog-rock with just enough metal ande some excellent time changes. Ben, if you’re reading this, let me know whatever I can do to help you out – I owe you big time for all the amazing music.

One of the BEST resources I’ve found recently for new indie and popular  tunes. A wide array of genres from folk to garage-electro, so have fun!

Patrick is an old friend and probably my favorite musician ever. Here’s why:

so i’ve been spending entirely too much time on this site (or not enough, depending on your pov) and i have to say, it’s one of the best sites i’ve seen in the past few years as far as actually sharing, appreciating, and learning about new music. i was invited by an old friend from Hype Club (if you don’t know, find out), so i knew it must have something going for it (btw, thanks rob). you can connect through your facebook account, which makes it easier to share and find friends who might be using the site. this particular feature has come in handy several times actually, helping to encourage some of my more musically-inclined facebook friends jump right in and start sharing music.

toss some wax on the board

this is where the magic happens.

in any case, i could sit here all day and tell you how awesome it is, or you could find out for yourself. check out turntable.fm and start dropping all those dope tracks you’ve been waiting to show your friends. or, just find a room, minimize the window, and get your work on to a constantly growing, changing, and (hopefully) awesome playlist. see ya on the dance floor!
